Trying to grow one on my all-time, most misunderstood and maligned vegetables—OKRA!  I’ve got some pods so I’m stoked that I may actually produce something edible.  In the mean time, I found some gorgeous pods at the market and steamed/sauteed them with a seasoned reduced tomato paste I’d made along with some ‘yard chard’. The results were simply fantastic!  Took me back to my roots when we’d have a pot of some kind of green with okra, cornbread, and some sort of protein—or not. Yummylicious!
